Like the ones that have the little rack on top of the rice that you’re going to cook?
I was wondering if you could cook chicken and other meats on it. And am I supposed to put the stuff I cook into a plate and then steam it, or just directly put it on the rack?

no, dont cook any full pieces of meat. Its perfect for steaming veggies like a plate of broccoli, cauliflauwer ..that kinda thing. You can make flavored rice tho such as curry rice by adding the ingredients such as onions, herbs etc to the rice pot. You can also make fried rice by adding little pieces of meat..just not full pieces.
